Newbie: Day 2

Wow...only two days? I've been doing so much fat and calorie math that it seems like it's been at least a week! I've been reading everything I can, and my understanding is that the plan will work better, and I'll lose more weight, if I reach the calorie/fat targets set for me by myalliplan.

Well, I'm one of those who are supposed to consume 1800 calories (19 g. fat/meal) a day...which sounds great: WOO HOO! I don't have to starve...YAY! But the reality is that finding 1800 NUTRITIOUS calories without overloading on fat, totally carbing out, or eating myself into a coma, is proving to be a real challenge. Today, I've eaten the following:

Breakfast:
1/2 peanut butter sandwich
(NOT enough, but I got sucked into meetings before I could eat more, then I crashed, hard, around 11:00)

Lunch:
Large orange
Two cans of Progresso soup
(Yep...I was starving)

Snack 1:
Bag of pretzels

Dinner:
3/4 cup steamed carrots WITH butter
1 cup spinach
and a HALF POUND Cheeseburger (yay for Laura's Lean beef!) that I couldn't finish

All for a grand total of 1280 calories and 34 grams of fat

I still have another snack...gotta have my sweet tonight...but I know it won't come close to making up the difference.

Any ideas for reaching my target? Or should I just not sweat it, and eat what feels right?
